• The likely future progression of hair loss - if applicable
• The most up-to-date treatment options available to him / her - which may include general advice, non-surgical medical treatment or ultimately, hair transplantation surgery.

With this information on board the patient is in the best position to make a decision as to what to do next, with the help and guidance of the doctor. The decision now becomes an informed choice that the patient makes.
